Hints and Tips to avoid ingrown hairs
Body brush daily - This will not only remove dead skin cells making your skin super soft and helping to release the superficial ingrown hairs, but will also boost your circulation which can help reduce cellulite! Brush all over your body, in the direction of your heart before you shower.
The Revive Company recommends....
Natural Cactus Bristle Brushes
Exfoliate once a week to remove dead skin cells and to release any ingrown hairs which are lying just under the surface of the skin
Do not pick at your ingrown hairs - this will only lead to nasty scabs and even worse scars and infections. Ingrown hairs can be removed but only when they are ready!
How to remove your ingrown hairs- After a shower or bath, cover your index fingers with a piece of tissue, place your fingers either side of the hair and gently squeeze them together, shimmying your fingers back and forth.(Use the side of your fingers, not your nails!) The hair should just raise to the surface and you can tweezer it out . Remember your hair is the boss when it is ingrown, so be patient and try again the next day if it is putting up a bit of fight. Forcing it out = scars and infections!!
